The role will incorporate but not be limited to:
● Coordinate and implement an effective crop production plan, liaising and collaborating with the owners and our agronomist
● To confidently follow the cropping plan and carry out the entire end-to-end cropping cycle of crops, including irrigation
● To competently operate and maintain relevant farming machinery and equipment
● To supervise a farm operation assistant when required
● Endorse best farm practices in relation to workplace health and safety
Essential Requirements:
● Previous cropping experience, will consider relevant tradesman looking for a change
● Capable and competent team leader with great communication and time management skills
● To have a flexible approach to your work and to demonstrate reliability when it comes to peak production periods on farm.
● Proficient in machinery operation, and associated technologies
● MC licence and a current Chemcert certificate or able to obtain
● To be innovative regarding technology and be excited to take our business ‘next level’
● To have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, be enthusiastic, honest, organised, and have the ability to commit to the position for the long term.

We are a dynamic innovative family business managing 6000 acres of irrigated farmland at Strathallan Victoria and Deniliquin NSW.
We are leaders in the hay and chaff industry. Our core company focus is to grow exceptional quality hay, producing premium quality chaff with an innovative and passionate approach.
Our operation consists of lucerne and hay crops, wheat, barley, canola, beans and maize. We also run 1000 merino ewes to compliment our farming system,
