Job description

As a Database Administrator at Pro Green Energy Solutions, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure the efficient storage, retrieval, and security of critical data related to solar installations, customer information, and project management. You will play a key role in supporting our operations, enhancing data-driven decision-making processes, and safeguarding sensitive information.Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database systems to support solar installation projects, customer records, and financial data within NSW.
- Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patches to ensure system integrity and optimal performance.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues such as slow queries, data corruption, and system outages.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop data models for reporting and analytics.
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, index optimization, and capacity planning.
- Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on database usage and best practices.
-Able to travel within NSW to support in troubleshooting issues at site.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL query language.
- Experience with database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
