The School Cleaning Service in the ACT Education Directorate are looking for someone to take this opportunity and run with it. The School Cleaning Service has a staff of over 400 providing cleaning services to over 100 sites across the ACT. You will lead the People Management team in their oversight of:
- HR Strategy and Compliance
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Performance Management
- Industrial Relations
- Training and Development programs
- HR Policies
- Data analysis and reporting
Supported by the Director, Business Support you will have the opportunity to stamp your vision on how the team operates to meet its goals and build on your leadership experience.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately to 26 May 2025. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
