Bring your passion for people and commitment to undertake induction accreditation and vehicle training to Wodonga Institute of TAFE. We have many positions available across a number of locations for Assistant Driving Instructor/Military Driver Trainers who will be trained to become driver trainers across a number of different vehicles including but not limited to 40M and HX77.

- Conduct training programs in a professional manner
- Display exemplary behaviour and best represent Wodonga TAFE in our partnership with the Australia Defence Force
- Follow all standard operating procedures and complying with both Wodonga TAFE and Defence Codes of Conduct, training requirements and compliance obligations
- Prepare facilities, equipment (including vehicles on site and client vehicles when at client sites) prior to commencement time of all courses
- Ensure learners are informed of all assessment criteria and reporting processes
The Skills & Experience you offer:
Still thinking this is sounding like a fabulous next step, great, then allow us to tell you a little about what would stand out as an ideal candidate:
- Heavy Combination (HC) Licence
- Experience as a driver within the transport and heavy vehicle industry
- Commitment to completion of TAEASS502 and other requirements of the Assistant Driving Instructors course
Essential:
- Must be eligible for a Defence Security Pass maintaining Baseline Security Clearance.
- Satisfactory National Police Records Check and current Victorian Working with Children Checks or prepared to obtain.
- Current valid Driver's Licence
- Must be an Australian citizen.
