I’m excited to be working with a leading agency in the healthcare sector in the market for an Assistant Facilities Engineer, who will have a hands-on approach, will manage HVAC, mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulics, and other building services critical to business continuity. Also assessing and resolving building infrastructure problems, coordinating contractors, and ensuring high-quality, compliant work.
Key Responsibility
Supervise and coordinate contractors to ensure maintenance is delivered according to contracts, within budgets, and compliant with building codes and safety regulations.Assist the Manager of Infrastructure Operations in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures.Develop and maintain preventative maintenance and compliance schedules.Perform asset data analysis, risk management, asset lifecycle assessments, and audits with practical outcomes.Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive project delivery and completion.Induct, schedule, and coordinate contractors, following OH&S procedures.Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, prioritising their needs and expectations.Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant building codes and legislative requirements.Ensure maintenance is delivered in line with contracts and budgets.Efficiently use and maintain the asset management system, ensuring accurate data recording.Support emergency management response.Assist in coaching team staff and implementing development plans with the Manager of Infrastructure Operations.What you need to succeed:
