We are looking for a motivated and experienced Hydraulics Engineer to play a key role in the design and implementation of hydraulic systems for building projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydraulic design calculations and analyses for building projects, including water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports in accordance with project requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that hydraulic systems integrate seamlessly with overall building designs.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to construction and commissioning.
- Perform site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory guidelines.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Hydraulic Engineering practices and incorporate innovative solutions into project designs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Hydraulic Engineering, preferably within the building services sector.
- Proficiency in hydraulic design software and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, PIPE-FLO).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes (e.g., AS/NZS 3500, NCC).
- Professional Engineering license or eligibility for registration is desirable
