Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, we are seeking someone who is self-driven, thrives on high energy, lover of all things F&B, and a proven leader to join the Food and Beverage team with Sheraton Grand Sydney.
The Assistant F&B Manager will lead all the venues of the operations to inspire, motivate and elevate the dining experiences with high levels of service standards whilst ensuring a positive culture and fun environment. You will have an extensive background in Food and Beverage management and an in-depth understanding of financials and what it takes to be a market leader.
The Role:
Provide inspirational leadership with a clear vision and direction to team members to ensure to create an amazing experience for all guests and colleagues.
Have previous experiences with pre-opening concept venues.
Building effective relationships with suppliers and all external parties that have a vested stake in the hotel.
Assist in ordering, purchasing and stocking par level for F&B products.
Coordinate in sourcing and testing new products and menus
To keep up to date with the current trends in the competitive market and assist Director of F&B in the development of the service and beverage menu pricing strategies.
Take ownership of an individual’s growth and be involved in career progression and succession planning of team members.
About You:
Pre-opening experience preferred
Previous experience in a fast paced hotel environment
Passion for all things food, wine and beverages
A unique look at service with creative ideas and the ability to implement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal and leadership skills
Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Micros POS.
