Assistant Food & Beverage Operations Manager

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage and Culinary, the Assistant Food & Beverage Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the seamless and efficient operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, as well as supporting the Banqueting department and the Pacific Club Lounge. They will ensure the successful functioning of all outlets and banquets in accordance with the hotel's standards, ensuring individual profitability. This encompasses optimising the service experience for guests and guaranteeing the delivery of superior service to all.

The successful Assistant Food & Beverage Operations Manager will:

• Supervise and lead the Food & Beverage team for seamless operations. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and excellence.
• Be hands on in all Food & Beverage outlets, providing support to the team.
• Uphold the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Monitor and maintain quality control in all aspects of food and Beverage Operations.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the service team. Identify areas for improvement and implement training programs accordingly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures. Ensure efficient and smooth daily operations, anticipating and resolving any challenges.
• Coordinate recruitment, staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels to satisfy guest needs.
• Interact with guests to ensure their needs and expectations are met. Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Oversee inventory management and control to minimise wastage and maximise profitability. Work closely with the management team to achieve budgetary goals.

Ideally you will have:

• Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of industry trends and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
