Job Functions include:
- Manager on Duty when rostered, departmental rosters, comprehensive handovers & accurate statistical records are kept and maintained.
- You will also work towards ensuring that the average rate and occupancy is maximised along with best practice in yield management while offering the guest best market value.
- Must be fully conversant with the hotel computer system in all aspects.
Sales
- To consistently deliver products and services to meet the service standards and expectations of guests.
- To achieve a reputation as the market leader in accommodation, products and service.
Customers
- To achieve a level of service quality that consistently meets and exceeds the expectations of guests and staff.
- To attend guest functions as requested.
- To effectively deal with guest complaints in conjunction with your appointed Executive Manager
- To respond to all reviews and feedback provided by guests
Personnel & Training
- To ensure department employees adhere to staff handbook guidelines for presentation, grooming and punctuality.
- To conduct 6 month probationary period evaluation.
- To ensure department inductions for new staff are completed.
- To ensure job descriptions are available for new employees.
- To effectively communicate with all departments of the hotel.
- To conduct scheduled Front Office meetings with all Front Office staff.
- To constantly motivate staff.
- Strong knowledge of Opera is essential.
