Our prestigious, local WA business is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join the team, located in Geraldton.
Your role as the Assistant GM, no two days will be the same. You will help oversee the venue as a whole alongside the General Manager and be a hands on leader who wants to coach, inspire and support their team. Overseeing a large team, you will have the experience of leading larger teams as well as strategize to make improvements within the business.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring that you are meeting budgets and forecasts
* Training and developing new and current staff members
* Perform quality controls and ensure KPIs are being met
* Rosters and Wage Control
* Ensuring the business is staying legally compliant
* Examine the P&L and act accordingly
* Ensure that maintenance is completed safely and in a timely manner
Requirements for the role:
* Proven work experiences in a similar role
* Understanding the P&L
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to lead a team of over 50+ team member
* A degree in Business or Management is desirable
