The OpportunityExciting opportunities exist within WCHN to join us as an Assistant in Midwifery, on a casual basis.The Assistant in Midwifery provides general patient care and performs basic midwifery tasks typically handled by Registered Nurse/Midwives or Registered Midwives.To find out the specifics, including the key selection criteria and special conditions, please go to the attached role description.
About YouTo be successful in this role you would need to have:
- Enrolled In Midwifery undergraduate program (2nd year or higher).
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in nursing/midwifery care within education and skill level boundaries, adhering to practice standards.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, standards, ethics, and competency requirements.
