The Maitland Hospital
In this role, the primary focus is delivering woman-centered care to maternity patients, ensuring their holistic well-being throughout their maternity process. This entails providing support alongside experienced team leaders and midwives, with dedicated supernumerary shifts to hone essential skills in observation, maternal and neonatal care, and meeting fundamental needs.

- You'll be part of a supportive environment at Maitland Hospital, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to offer women-centered care to the women of the Hunter region.

Maitland is well connected by road, rail and air, is located less than two hours north of Sydney, only 15 minutes from Hunter Valley Wine Country and 30 minutes from Newcastle and its beaches.

Requirements and additional information:
- Enrolled in the Bachelor of Midwifery program at University of Newcastle in second year, first semester or third year.
- Currently enrolled or successfully completed Midwifery Practice & Woman with Complex Care Neets A- MIDI 2105.
- Willingness and availability to work shift work
