About the role
Our team are seeking Assistant in Nursing and Care Support Worker with experience in community care assisting clients and participants with their daily living adventures. You will be responsible for advocating and ensuring the best quality of care is given to our clients for both respite and ongoing services across various shifts in community. We seek those who are compassionate, dedicated and enjoy building relationships with your clients.
What your day will look like
- Ensure clients arrive to appointments on time
- Assist clients to achieve their activities of daily living (Personal care)
- Deliver high quality services in a home environment
- Implementing interventions as per their care plan
- Document in cloud-based client software
- Medication assist
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Domestic assistance
- A love for helping others.
- Qualification in Individual Support - Aged Care / Health Services Assistance
- Current Working with Childrens Check and Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker screening check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Drivers licence and own comprehensive insured transport
- Evidence of current flu vaccination
- Evidence of 3 x Covid vaccinations
- Experienced in working in the community environment.
- Australian Citizen or have full working rights in Australia
- Excellent communication skills
- Continuing support within our team environment
