In this role, you'll provide direct care to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assisting with patient care interventions and maintaining accurate health care documentation.
If you have:
- HLT32507 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care) or HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, or equivalent; OR equivalent experience; OR completion of one (1) or more years of training as an undergraduate nursing student
- Good knowledge of basic nursing care, including physiologic observations and assistance with activities of daily living
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control standard precautions
