The Opportunity
The Banking and Finance department is a leader in the advancement of knowledge in banking and finance education and research. The Assistant Lecturer (Education-Focused) role entails making a significant contribution to the teaching mission of the University and will actively promote the University's commitment to fostering excellence in learning and teaching.
The Assistant Lecturer (Education-Focused) is responsible for:
- Designing, delivering, and evaluating engaging teaching activities for diverse learning outcomes
- Consulting with and prioritising student needs, fostering a student-centered approach
- Creating flexible, inclusive learning environments using diverse technologies
- Providing timely feedback, undertaking marking, and maintaining consistent standards
The successful applicant will have a Doctoral qualification in Finance, as well as a demonstrated record of teaching experience in a tertiary environment.
