Your day to day
As Assistant Manager Banquets you will work with the Banquets Director to manage the scope of the service elements of our events, conferencing and banqueting department.
You will be focused on creating an amazing environment that encourages our team to deliver an exceptional level of service - ensuring our clients and guests feel that amazing experiences have been created.
This is a busy and varied role with connection to all departments across the Hotel. Your presentation, passion for service and eagerness to lead will be the key to creating a seamless, luxury experience for our guests.
What we need from you
To succeed as Assistant Manager Banquets you will need:
- Previous Banquets and Events operational experience preferably within a luxury hotel environment
- Strong Food and Beverage service skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for striving for excellence
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that will see you develop strong rapport with clients, guests and colleagues
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for inspiring, training and developing a team
- A confident, proactive and thorough problem solver, with strong conflict resolution skills
- The innate ability to remain calm under pressure when responding to last minute changes
