AddressContext:
In this role, you would assist the team to manage all the income-tax compliances and litigation of various group companies. Also, you would be required to engage in tax litigation mitigation measures such as APA’s. In addition to this, you would be responsible for USGAAP based deferred tax accounting of the entire Fox group entities in India BU and mange USGAAP reporting schedules such as Fin48, FAS 5, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage corporate tax compliances such as Tax audit, TP audit, tax return filings, etc for India and offshore entities
- Manage present and past corporate tax litigation including supporting engagement with Senior tax Counsels
- Maintain adequate documentary support for defending new income-tax positions as well as interco transactions
- Prepare deferred tax accounting workings as per US GAAP and ensure tax assets/liabilities are appropriately recorded
- Support corporate tax initiatives such as APA’s, etc
- Maintain Fin 48 and FAS 5 related schedules
- Undertake research on new tax issues and keep abreast of latest technical developments
