Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clubhouse, bar, cafe, retail space and restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in managing diverse aspects of a recreational facility.
Responsibilities;
Operational Management:
Working with the Managing Director to coordinate and supervise daily operations of the clubhouse including the bar, cafe, retail area and restaurant.
Ensuring the highest standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and training of front-of-house and back-of-house teams and procurement.
Customer Service:
Foster a customer-centric environment, ensuring an exceptional experience for all patrons.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Financial Management:
Monitor and manage budgetary goals, controlling costs and optimizing revenue streams.
Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and promotional initiatives.
Staff Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Facility Maintenance:
Collaborate with clubhouse teams to ensure the venue is in optimal condition.
Oversee cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetics of the bar, cafe, retail and restaurant areas.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Stay informed about industry trends and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in golf course or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
- Familiarity with events and function practices is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience.
