The Role
The Assistant Mine Accountant supports the Mine Accountant in driving the performance of the financial and operational functions of the business through the provision of accurate and timely information. Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Management accounting
- Month end reporting
- Cost management
- Management reporting
- Capital expenditure
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or other related degree
- Previous practical experience is desirable
- Ability to learn new systems
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills, particularly MS Office Suite
