MA Services Group is seeking a dedicated Assistant National Operations Manager for our Cleaning Division. Reporting to the National Operations Manager - Cleaning, This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our operational excellence and drive forward our mission of delivering superior service to our clients nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and managing daily operational activities across multiple regions.
- Support leadership team and state managers in implementing operational strategies and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Monitor and analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in resource planning, including manpower allocation, equipment deployment, and inventory management.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability among operational staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in budget planning and management to achieve financial objectives and optimise resource utilization.
- Support training and development initiatives for operational staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Act as a point of contact for operational issues and provide timely resolution and support.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in operations management or a similar role within the cleaning industry.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to cleaning operations.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks, priorities, and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving operational goals.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in gathering, analysing, and presenting data effectively to create comprehensive and insightful reports that support informed decision-making and drive operational improvements.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with operational management systems
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.
- Flexible approach to handle changing priorities and operational challenges
