About this Opportunity
With escalating demands for our nursing services and our commitment to 24/7 care, we are looking for an experienced local community RN with the personality, drive and management experience to assist our Nursing Operations Manager to expand our Community Nursing services.
You will be a critical member of a well-established and growing team that provides Community Nursing services to the Gold Coast and Tweed regions.

About the Role
Reporting to a Nursing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operational effectiveness of the Nursing and Scheduling Team and manage the integration of all services.
Responsibilities will include:
- Receive, manage and resolve issues from Clients, Stakeholders and Staff and escalate where appropriate
- Conduct regular audits in line with service requirements
- Build relationships with stakeholders in Community Nursing
- Manage allocated email inboxes, manage phone calls and update and maintain client records
- Oversee clinical nursing
- Assisting Scheduling Team, amend published rosters as required
- Facilitate bi-monthly staff education sessions
- Provide on call advice to nursing staff
- Visiting clients, providing clinical care and assessments on all rostered days
- Support Nursing Operations Manager in day to day operations
- Manage supplies and stock control processes
- Be on call overnight during your rostered days

About You:
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced applicants who have at least 5 years’ experience as an RN, which must include some Community Nursing exposure.
Tertiary qualifications, unrestricted AHPRA registration, current Police Clearance Certificate, CPR, drivers licence and reliable vehicle are of course all essential requirements of the role.
You will be proficient in managing multiple client caseloads, including wound care and dressings, PEG & Enteral feeds, continence, catheters, bowel care assessment and have the associated product knowledge and ability to manage assessment reporting.
Above all we are seeking applicants with exceptional communication, IT skills with the ability to learn new software easily, problem solving and leadership skills who have a ‘can do attitude’ and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and evidence-based practices.
