ASSISTANT – OUTSIDE SCHOOL HOURSCARE & EARLY LEARNING CENTRE | Permanent, full-time, year-round Commencing ASAP

The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity within our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Program and Early Learning Centre (ELC), for a suitably qualified Childcare Assistant to join our team.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 10am – 6pm during term-time and being an active member of our School Holiday Program in non-term time.
You will be responsible for assisting to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all children in care, assist in supporting of the needs of children through the preparation and implementation of programs and providing other support as required in both the OSHC and ELC programs.

About you
The successful candidate will have relevant experience working with children. They will be a confident self-starter who enjoys building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College, possesses excellent communication skills, has a strong customer-service focus and can be relied upon to work autonomously. Candidates must:

- Be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to grow through the sharing of best practice and professional experience

Qualifications
- Diploma in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education and Care, OR hold a relevant Certificate III and be actively working towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current First Aid Certificate and asthma/anaphylaxis training or willingness to complete
