ASSISTANT PRACTICE MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE
The Role:
An exciting new opportunity has opened up for an experienced Assistant Practice Manager at our Newpark Medical Center. We are seeking a candidate to start straight away!
The Assistant Practice Manager role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers. It will include extended duties as an assistant manager. The successful applicants would be appointed as a full time employee.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of Reception and Nursing staff
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders including Doctors and Head Office
- Ensure patients are provided with exemplary customer service
- Ensure staff are supported and enjoy a positive working environment
- Maintain accreditation
- Reduce incidents
- Timely corrective action of risks and hazards identified
- Successful implementation of center initiatives and promotions.
- Staff rostering is within budget parameters
- Ensure visitors and contractors follow safety rules and procedures
- Provide informal coaching and feedback to staff as required and facilitate formal performance reviews
- Provide staff with training and development required to do their role.
- Other adhoc administration as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Best Practice Software experience beneficial.
- Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional phone manner.
- Be able to multitask and prioritizes all times.
- Previous experience as a 2IC or Practice Manager preferred
