We are a not-for-profit organisation, with dedicated staff that make learning come to life through hands on, practical education tailored to each student's unique needs - and we're looking for an Assistant Principal - Student Wellbeing to help support our students.
So, what is it?
The Assistant Principal - Student Wellbeing's role will be primarily to guide the staff at our Independent School - ECG Secondary College, to ensure an inclusive and positive educational experience for all students by:
- Leading the Wellbeing Team and fostering a supportive and empowering work environment.
- Overseeing the collection and use of data and evidence to identify student needs and prioritise adjustments and supports, targeted workshops and/or programs.
- Utilising, co-ordinating and updating the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on Students with Disability (NCCD).
- Researching and embedding alternative therapies into an educational model.
- Management of contracts with external psychological support organisations.
- Coordinating professional supervision of staff as required.
- Overseeing the educational support for all Koorie students, out of home care and youth justice.
- Implementing evidence-based wellbeing, student support and trauma informed Professional Learning.

What you bring to the table:
- Victorian Teachers Registration (VIT).
- An appropriate qualification in education.
- Masters or Postgraduate qualification in Positive Education, Student Wellbeing, educational Leadership and/or educational management.
- Demonstrated experience in educational leadership in Student Wellbeing.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Clear Police check.
- Clear Working with Children check.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
