Davis Creek Primary School is a new co-educational Prep to Year 6 that opened in 2020. Over this time, we have grown rapidly due to our positive reputation within our local community of Tarneit. We have rapidly grown from 253 students to over 900 students in 2024. Tarneit is a thriving multi-cultural community positioned only 25km from the CBD of Melbourne.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive, and extemporary Assistant Principal (Wellbeing) to work as part of the school team and school community to contribute to our collaborative culture at our school.

We have an administration building including library, two learning community buildings and a Performing Arts and Physical Education (PAPE) building. These includes flexible collaborative learning spaces, explicit instruction glassed rooms, presentation spaces, quiet reading areas or small group nooks, specialist labs, games and construction settings and staff workspaces.

Davis Creek Primary School aims to build a school culture that demonstrates a strong belief in and a commitment to providing a rich and rigorous curriculum within a safe, secure and enriched learning environment for our children. We implement the Primary Years Programme as a rich, authentic, rigorous curriculum framework. Professional learning and training will be provided. We have a clear focus on catering for the diverse range of students at their point of need. Our core mission promotes a mindset of international mindedness, and provides a supportive, nurturing and challenging learning environment, with high expectations for student success. Our approach to wellbeing for all members of our community is aligned to our curriculum framework and we implement many practices from the Berry Street Education Model. Another major feature of our school¿s curriculum is the development of a high-quality Music, STEM, Visual Arts, Mandarin and Sporting Program that fosters student¿s intellectual, social and physical development.
