We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader interested in an Assistant Store Manager role in our Garbutt store. You will be hands-on in your approach and enjoy physical work; ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved. You will be required to work a rotational roster which may include nights, weekends and public holidays.

Experience:
- Previous management/supervisory experience, and skills to lead and manage a team an advantage
- Experience in stock rotation and stock management including monitoring and controlling shrinkage
- Ability to drive sales, achieve budgets and exceed targets
- Knowledge and experience with WH&S and safety requirements
- Experience in training and coaching other team members
Skills:
- Understanding of gross profit and profit and loss accounts
- Experience using enterprise systems, such as NAV, SAP or Oracle
- Ability to drive sales and manage inventory
- Experience in rostering and wage control
Preferred
- Retail industry experience strongly preferred
- Previous grocery experience preferred
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate
