An assistant Store Manager is required for a luxury women's fashion label.
Your new company
Our client is a European women's apparel fashion label who are looking for their next Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in the leadership of their store located in DFO, Homebush.
Your new role
- Ensure all store employees are aware of their unique contributions to customer care
- Ensure the brand's values and standards are continually communicated to store employees to ensure a high degree of motivation for customer excellence
- Assist Store Manager in identifying the customer base and accordingly ensure correct volumes and stock mix
- Ensure proper layout and display of stock as per international standards
- Maintain staff levels in accordance with staff scheduling procedures
- Create an environment conducive to staff motivation, growth and development
- Provide Store Manager with continual support and commitment
- Regularly provide informal feedback on staff performance
- Formally evaluate individual performance of relevant staff and set realistic goals and objectives
- Assist Store Manager in the production utilisation of all store space
- Maximise the use of promotional activities that are in line with marketing campaigns
- Proactively give store employees feedback with regard to their interaction with customers
- Ensure efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service available to meet customer needs at all times
- Oversee the availability of merchandise to meet customer needs at all times
- Actively develop and maintain a professional positive relationship with the community and target market
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail leadership role, ideally from fashion, accessories, handbags, footwear, lifestyle background.
