About The Role

- Availability requirement; Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun (Mon a bonus)
We are looking for an extraordinary and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join forces with our Store Manager and take our Preston Retail Store to all new heights!
Your responsibilities will include
- Delivering exceptional service to our customers
- Outfitting, upselling and on-selling our beautiful, timeless product range by engaging customers with features, benefits and sustainability features
- Co-Owning the smooth and efficient day to day store operation
- Working closely with your Store Manager to ensure commercial outcomes are optimised (expenses are effectively managed, wages are in line with sales, and products are well merchandised)
- Overseeing the effective operation of the store and delegate to a small team in the absence of the Store Manager including; training, rostering, timesheet management and optimising the performance of your team
- Living and breathing ELK as a true brand ambassador

Who are you?
- Experience managing or leading a team within a retail (or similar) environment essential (Women's Apparel highly regarded)
- Proven experience overseeing the effective and profitable daily operations of a retail store ensuring optimum efficiency, productivity, and performance to budgets
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a natural flair for making genuine connections with others
- Ability to excel working in a team environment, nurturing and supporting those around you
