The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is currently looking for a modern, progressive and enthusiastic Assistant Superintendent who is looking to progress their career by maintaining our world class Golf Course facility. The Par 72, Kalgoorlie Golf Course is situated 600km east of Perth in the middle of the outback and provides a beautiful and unique setting, the course is currently ranked in Australian Golf Digest's Top 100 courses. Designed by Graham Marsh, it has become one of the most iconic Golf Courses throughout Australia, annually hosting the televised Western Australian PGA Championships.
To be successful for this challenging yet extremely rewarding role, you will have:
• Certificate/Diploma in Sports Turf Management.
• Extensive experience in planning and maintenance of a public or private Golf Course.
• Necessary experience in preparing a course for high end tournament play.
• Experience in the application of modern Sports Turf Management methodologies.
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
• Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to build working relationships with industry stakeholders
• Demonstrated knowledge in the management of Commercial Irrigation systems.

Salary ranges between $85,432 to $92,556.
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
