The RoleAs the Supply Chain Assistant Manager, your role is to manage the supply chain team, you will be responsible for the seamless planning and execution of supply chain operations. The network is end-to-end, from NPD to product fulfillment in omni-channels including domestic grocery stores, pharmacy retailers, e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, and overseas customers.
You will assist in the management of operational relationship with the sales team, and key external logistics providers in warehousing, transport, import & export operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will require a great people skill and an analytical mind in this role.
Responsibility
- Lead the supply chain team (including the warehouse team) to fulfil sales orders in relation to the DIFOT requirements with customers
- Support the NPD process and lead the procurement activities for new products related materials
- Manage the S&OP process with relevant stakeholders and lead actions for business benefit
- Generate the demand and supply plan, and coordinate the production schedule with intercompany and contract manufacturers
- Manage product lifecycle activities e.g. product launch, phase in, and phase out
- Manage the inventory to meet both service level and cost control purposes
- Generate the slow-moving inventory alerts, monitor and lead actions on short shelf life products
- Develop the inventory report for reporting and analysis
- Lead the periodic stocktake and manage the reconciliation and discrepancy investigation processes in line with financial and audit requirements
- Manage the relationship with logistics providers and meet the cost saving and service level target
- Lead and supervise the supply chain activities to ensure operations are compliant, and relevant operation cost is within set financial budgets
Skills & Experience:
- At least three years’ experience in a similar role
- University degree in supply chain, business, management and engineering related areas
- Proven success where you have been responsible for planning, inventory management, warehousing and distribution
- Experience in ERP systems (IBM, SAP, Oracle, etc). Experience in Pronto or NetSuite is highly regarded
- Well-developed people management skills

- A tertiary certificate in CPIM, CSCP is an advantage
