The Role:
Do you love to get your hands dirty and thrive in all areas of hospitality? Lead by example and mentor our incredible team, contributing to the success of our award-winning venue.
Working closely with our Venue Manager, you will be across all aspects of the business including our award-winning bar, restaurant, functions, gaming room, TAB, lotteries, and bottle shop.
Key tasks include:
- Providing exceptional customer service, motivating the team to provide a memorable experiences;
- Assist in recruitment, induction and training of F&B teams, including sequence of service, product education and training, and rostering.
- Providing a supportive and encouraging environment and lead by example;
- Stock control/stock take and administrative tasks as required;
- Ensuring all policies and procedures, including corporate, legislative and regulatory obligations are met at all times;
- Management of financial budgets and targets through food and beverage, ensuring operational requirements are maintained within target whilst having a continuous improvement mindset to streamline operations.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- At least 2 years of management experience in a similar role;
- H&L experience;
- Significant experience in a F&B focused venue, having a great understanding of beer, wine and spirits;
- Experience multitasking and managing multiple departments;
- The ability to analyse situations and make rational and responsible decisions relating to staffing, and strategic business issues;
- RSA, RP badge, Advanced Gaming and TAB qualifications;
- Relevant Hospitality qualifications (highly regarded);
- Great presentation, attention to detail, clean, and organised; and
- Flexibility to work across 7 days, with a rotating roster.
