About the role
We have exciting opportunities Assistants in Nursing & Personal Services Assistants who are seeking flexible and fulfilling work in hospitals across Launceston.
Your tasks will include and not limited to:
• Providing quality support to patients with their activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility
• Complete charting and documentation as per facilities policies & procedures
• Supporting the clinical nursing team with patient/ward requirements
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Providing 1:1 support to high risk patients (patient specials)
- Continuous patient observation
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
• Cert III in Health Services Assistance (HSA)
• 2nd and 3rd year nursing students can apply without previous qualification or experience
• COVID 19 & Influenza vaccinated
• National Police Certificate (less than 12 months old)
• Working with Vulnerable Person's check
• Working rights in Australia
• 2 clinical referees
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport is desirable
