We are in an exciting growth phase, and as a result we areseeking an Assistive Technology/Home Modifications specialist witha Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy clinical background, tojoin the team in a permanent capacity. Working with children andadults with disabilities, as well as people within the aged caresector who require assistive technology or home modifications, youwill support the team in the prescription of technologies to assistpeople to thrive within the community.

What’s the role?
- Conducting assessments, plan and implement AT/home modifications solutions for customers.
- Providing ongoing education, training and support for staff, families, carers and health care professionals, on the utilisation of prescribed assistive technologies as well as emerging technologies.
- Maintaining customer records and ensuring adequate and effective service delivery across the allied health team; and
- Keeping abreast of legislative requirements and regulations around AT/home modifications and funding principles and sharing your knowledge with the transdisciplinary team of Therapists.

What’s required?
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Significant clinical experience, preferably as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist;
- A minimum of 5 years specialist assistive technology and/or home modifications experience within the health, disability or aged care sector;
- Experience working with both children and adults would be highly advantageous;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills teamed with the ability to work autonomously; and
- A high level of motivation and a flexible, can-do attitude, with a strong focus on customer outcomes.
