Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Associate Contaminated Land Scientist, you will play a pivotal role within the technical consulting team, reporting directly to the Principal. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects, overseeing their execution from inception to completion.
- Project Management: Lead and manage specific projects, ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives within predetermined timelines and budgets
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with client requirements and company processes, fostering a collaborative environment
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources and manage project deliverables, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and timely completion of tasks
- Technical Review: Oversee final documentation review, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Business Development: Engage with clients, build strong relationships, and identify opportunities for business growth through proposal development and client engagement
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
- Project management experience, preferably in environmental consulting
- Site Contamination Practitioner certification is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proven leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork
