The Ethics & Compliance Office (ECO) serves as the voice of Ethics and integrity for the Company, making sure it is always top-of-mind with employees and providing counsel when needed.

The ECO Animal Health team is fully dedicated to providing commercial and other compliance support to the Animal Health organization. Each team member has core responsibilities but is expected to assume additional developmental opportunities consistent with their experience and skills which enables individual development, personal growth and overall effective support by the Animal Health team.

The Associate Director position will report to the Executive Director, Animal Health Compliance and will primarily be the designated compliance lead responsible for supporting the Animal Health commercial business in the APSA Region.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include, however not limited to

Provide compliance oversight to region and market stakeholders Develop and update divisional procedures, training, communications, and resources Provide daily compliance related advice and answer ad hoc questions from business stakeholders Review and approve business activities and programs according to policies and procedures Leverage the understanding of the business, associated risk profile, and the available compliance risk datasets/dashboards to identify the potential compliance risks. Collaborate with commercials teams, internal audit, investigation team, and other cross-function risk management teams, and take appropriate actions by different risks identified Review anti-bribery and anti-corruption due diligence and mitigation plans and Denied Party Screening results Lead continuous improvement efforts to ensure that all reporting data is accurate and complete Work across teams to engage stakeholders, understand problems, and provide practical guidance Identify gaps and implement corrective measures Simplify existing processes to maximize efficiencies and financial benefit Develop, train, manage, and supervise Compliance Stewards in Region Lead/co-lead/support other compliance projects/initiatives as assigned

What You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree or higher in law, business, economics, finance, accounting or equivalent disciplines

Professional work experience in a Finance, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, or Commercial role Strong project management experience Demonstrated ability to work with a sense of urgency, efficiency, and attention to detail Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Problem solver, ability to work independently, and a willingness to assume new challenges Interest in working on rapidly changing, ever-evolving business with many different systems Strong analytical mindset, combined with ability to simplify complicated information and processes Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills in English Strong soft skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Must demonstrate integrity, ethics, and discretion in handling sensitive information Must exercise strong judgment and critical thinking, being analytical and evidence-based Must demonstrate exceptional communication, consulting, and partnering skills to work with diverse stakeholders across the business, Commercial, Legal, HR, and Finance Demonstrated ability to influence, build, and maintain diverse client and peer relationships to enable an active role as a business partner and advisor

Preferred Experience And Skills

Experience using or adapting AI tools to aid in compliance reviews (e.g., risk monitoring tools or dashboards) Demonstrated business and financial acumen (Animal Health or biopharma experience) Experience with conducting internal audit assessments Experience drafting policies and procedures Experience counselling the business involving compliance policies and issues
