Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge Electrical Engineering solutions for a variety of building projects – particularly in healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of a respected consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering design for a range of building projects, from concept through to completion.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the Electrical Engineering team, ensuring the highest standards of design and documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are implemented.
- Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposal writing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the Building Services industry.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex building projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional membership with Engineers Australia (CPEng) is highly desirable.
