Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for a passionate and detail oriented professional to join our new Canberra office as Associate Advisor (Professional Year) / Paraplanner.
The Role
This represents a unique and exciting opportunity to join our team of professional advisers who are truly passionate about creating unique and highly tailored advice to all our clients. As an Associate Advisor, you will;
• Commence your Professional Year under the guidance of our Senior Financial Planner
• Engage in collaborative workshops with experts across financial advising, law, accounting, mortgage brokerage, and property, to tailor strategies and plans for clients
• Modelling and projections of strategies including tax structures, investments, property, Super, SMSF and insurance
• Preparing client reports
• Preparation and implementation of accurate Statements of Advice (SOA) and Records of Advice (ROA) as directed by Advisers
• Maintaining accurate client files and data
• Research and analysis
• Provide technical support to Advisers
About you
With a passion for client satisfaction and clear communication skills, you excel in a dynamic environment. To be successful in this role you will need the following -
• Completing within 6 months or completed your Financial Planning tertiary qualification
• Previous experience working in Financial Planning industry would be advantageous
• Strong technical and research skills with a thorough understanding of industry regulations
• Exemplary attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work with deadlines
