About the role

We are looking for an Associate Midwifery Manager to lead our clinical teams and support our Midwifery Managers in Birthing Suite. The Associate Midwifery Manager, together with the Midwifery Managers, form the management team responsible for patient centred, high quality clinical care, and the efficient operational running of the ward.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess: 

• Current Midwifery registration with AHPRA 
• Previous experience in a supervisory or CMS role
• Recent experience in intrapartum care, and ideally experience in antenatal and postpartum care
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience and understanding of Quality Improvement methodology 
• Awareness and understanding on National Health Standards and Accreditation Standards
