This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile: The Associate Midwifery Manager demonstrates the AKG vison and values, supporting the Midwifery Manager in providing leadership and management in relation to quality patient care and both budgetary and human resources in the ambulatory setting. The position is responsible for the delivery of patient centred midwifery care through clinical leadership, through the promotion and establishment of contemporary models of Midwifery Care, in particular Midwifery Group Practice models, coordinating the continuum of care across the patient journey.

The hospital, which is part of the Armadale Kalamunda Group, is equipped with an Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit and provides high-quality general medical and surgery services, rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric and neonatal, mental health, renal medicine and dialysis services and ambulatory care.
