ANZ Private caters to ANZ's highest net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and protect their wealth. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their individual needs. This opportunity is within the ANZ Private Office segment and the portfolio has a variety of clients including professionals, executives, business owners, investors and retirees.The Associate Private Banker role is diverse and fast paced. Working with the Senior Private Banker, the candidate will have the opportunity to directly manage clients and be part of a high achieving professional team. They will be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience, portfolio management, compliance and collaboration with the broader ANZ Private team and stakeholders.What will your day look likeYour accountabilities would include but would not be limited to:

• Explore existing client banking needs and structure solutions to achieve their objectives.
• Collaborate with other internal ANZ Divisions and external stakeholders to build and convert a pipeline of future Private clients and grow existing mutual client relationships.
• Work with the Senior Private Banker to achieve assigned client acquisition targets through proactive solicitation of new clients and seeking referrals from existing clients.
• Meet assigned deposit, lending and investment targets through the needs based introduction and appropriate positioning of banking and investment solutions.
• Keep across key economic and market trends impacting the industry.
• Ensure all transactional banking and lending solutions are suitable and compliantly executed and that client expectations are effectively managed.
• Commitment to give and receive feedback to develop self and others.
• Work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders through effective communication to achieve best outcome for client.
• 100% compliance with mandatory learning requirements at all times.
• Implement checks and measures to ensure the Private Office set is at all times fully compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures.

What will you bring?

• Demonstrated experience in a client facing role.
• Knowledge of transactional banking and ability to navigate ANZ products, systems & processes.
• Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills
• Lending/credit capability (Consumer and/or Commercial) is preferred.
• Ability to proactively problem solve on behalf of clients & ANZ.
• Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution
