About the role:
As Associate Professor in Nursing you will provide leadership and make outstanding and original contributions to learning and teaching, scholarship and research in the Discipline of Nursing. You will be expected to make outstanding contributions to the governance of academic programs; build relationships with external organisations and communities; provide disciplinary leadership and make significant contributions to quality improvement of nursing programs.
More specifically the role entails:
- Mentorship of staff in the learning and teaching activity of the School and in the development, implementation and accreditation of the nursing curricula at the Australian Catholic University.
- Provide mission aligned leadership to enhance the student-life experience.
- Supervision of honours, higher degree research and/or postgraduate research projects.
- Support leadership in achieving the strategic intent of the University and implementing the strategic initiatives at a Faculty and School level.

- Total remuneration valued to $190,982 - $210,230 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $161,830 - $178,282 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
