The Role: Associate Sales Director, Global Intelligence & Analytics
An experienced, self-motivated professional who will lead new sales opportunities within existing customers & new logo's.
You will report to the Head of Sales, South APAC and will be focused on new business across all industry sectors, supply chain / trade flow analytics use-cases. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and executing new business strategies for some of the world's largest and most complex Organisations / Government Departments.
Success will come from working closely with product, marketing, Subject Matter Experts, Sales Specialists, and multiple other teams to support the strategy for each of the Accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Drive sustained growth within existing accounts & new logo's
- Pure new business role
- Research and prospect accounts to identify key contacts to generate new opportunities
- Develop targeted multi-channel campaigns to generate new business opportunities
- Engage in C-level conversations designed to discover sales opportunities and drive from a senior level
- Develop and execute go to market / territory plan
- Provide product feedback and support in concept development
- Manage and maintain accurate Salesforce.com notes and data to illustrate work activities and sales pipeline data
- Pro-activly coordinate support team (Marketing, Product Management, Analysts, Event Management)
You are a focused, motivated and high energy individual who thrives on developing deep relationships with new connections. You are fully able to understand a customer's workflow challenges, the key responsibilities of their role and have a superior ability to map out the priority deliverables to help them achieve their aims. You are familiar with the challenger sale approach (or other related sales methodology) and can teach, tailor, and take control of the sales process. Your curiosity to understand your customers world and deep work ethic to deliver solutions is key to your success.
- Exceptional communicator, both written and verbally
- Pro-active, hunter mentality
- Proven ability of closing large value sales across multiple stakeholders at various seniority levels
- Deep network of contacts across Seaborne Logistics, Commodities, Financials, Government or Energy is an advantage
- 6-10 years' sales / business development experience with a software / data / information vendor or similar with exposure to regulatory activity is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of global shipping markets, international trade or supply chain is an advantage
- Track record of developing and executing go to market plans
