About our client
We are working with a well-established private markets advisory group who is looking to add a smart, energetic Associate to their Secondary Advisory team based in Paris. This highly-regarded team advises clients on how to best financially position their investment portfolios and proceed with asset/ portfolio sale or recapitalisation.
What the job involves
As an Associate in the team, you can expect to be responsible for the execution of complex secondary advisory mandates across France and other regions in Europe, management of pitch processes, and will collaborate with senior members in the origination of new business leads.
- Analysing alternative investment portfolios, including intensive company and fund modelling
- Preparing transaction information such as investment memorandums and data room materials
- Performing market analyses to generate potential business leads
- Preparing meeting materials and participating actively in meetings with prospective clients
- Strong academic record with proven experience in M&A transactions at investment bank, lead advisory, management consulting, or secondary advisory experience
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and a real interest in secondary transactions
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office with excellent numeracy skills
- Rigorous attention to detail under high-pressure and ability to work independently across multiple projects under competing deadlines
- Confident, strong team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Flawless French and English written and verbal communication skills is required
