These include fund finance, acquisition funding, working capital, capital markets programs as well as a broad spectrum of global markets trading and transaction banking products.Your impact and contributionAs an Associate/Senior Associate, you’ll work in a high performing team, supporting Senior Bankers across complex transactions in the Global Funds, Asset Management, Wealth Management and Superannuation space.You will be involved in various aspects of client engagements, portfolio management and deal related activity including preparation of pitch packs, financial modelling, preparation of credit papers, portfolio review and client due diligence.Do work that matters:You will play a key role in providing client, transaction and operational support to Senior Bankers across the customer lifecycle, responsibilities include:Supporting Bankers in covering and servicing the needs of our clients including, for complex transactions, operational requirements and day-to-day enquiries across the client lifecycleWorking as part of a Deal Team over the lifecycle of a deal to support and drive documentation, execution, establishment, settlement and in-life maintenance processesPreparing annual credit reviews and provide analytical and credit related support in preparation of credit applications for new transactions.Liaise with product partners, credit risk and other stakeholders as requiredCollecting client information to facilitate and support the Know Your Customer ‘KYC’ on boarding process for new clients and the KYC review process for existing clientsPerforming portfolio monitoring activates such as breach management and other reporting and liaise with credit risk where requiredInputting and maintaining client, credit and transaction data and ensure data accuracy and quality across systems.We’re interested in hearing from people who have:Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or law related discipline1-3 years’ experience in institutional, business banking, chartered accounting or banking middle office with a strong customer service focusPossess an understanding of risk management and credit risk issues and have demonstrable critical thinking, research and analytical skillsGood knowledge of the Bank’s systems and processes would be well regarded but not essential.What we offerThis opportunity will give you exposure to both clients and a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the business whilst being part of a team that is focused, smart, hardworking and passionate about our shared vision to create the very best experience for our customers.As the successful applicant you'll be rewarded with a structured career path within the Institutional Client Coverage business that offers a competitive market salary, annual performance incentives, and a flexible working environment.If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through to submit a valid application.
