Insurance | Associate to Senior Associate Level | Global Law Firm | High Profile Team
The Firm
Our client is a global elite law firm and due to growth, they are looking to recruit a talented insurance litigator with at least 3 or 4 years plus pae. The partners in this team consistently top the legal tables and are known to their clients for being pragmatic, responsive and for providing legal work of a high technical standard but they are also commercial in their approach.
The Role
The work is varied and interesting, stimulating and almost always complex.
Examples of the kinds of disputes you will be working on are:
- professional indemnity disputes
- financial lines
- high stakes multi-party disputes
- class actions
- ASIC related claims
- advising on cyber security and breach of cyber security disputes
- consumer disputes
- fraud and corruption disputes
- business interruptions claims
- D&O matters
This is an opportunity to work closely and be developed by seasoned insurance litigators who are at the top of their game. This role would suit the experienced litigator who is looking for a Senior Associate role or a Senior Associate who is looking to take the next important step in their career.
About You
- At least 3/4 years plus pae in the area of insurance disputes or commercial disputes
- You will either be at the Associate or Senior Lawyer level or Senior Associate level
- Strong litigation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal confidently with clients
- Attention to detail and an analytical mind
- Ability to work independently, but within a team-focused environment
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a strong work ethic
- Drive and ambition
