As part of their strategic growth plan, they are looking to source an Associate Structural Engineer to join their Adelaide team. You will lead design and delivery of projects across a range of sectors from multi-storey residential apartments, commercial low and high rise, hotels, shopping centres and transport. The role This position will see you working across a broad range of projects, you will lead a team of Structural Engineers and drafters to produce design and documentation that is to the highest possible standard. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Actively be part of the leadership team, contributing to management conversations and strategic growth of the consultancy Lead a variety of projects independently, with the assistance of other engineering resources Play a senior and active role in developing and managing industry relationships Oversee your team across design and documentation & be a technical mentor and contribute to the development of junior engineers Enjoying exposure to business development opportunities and development of your own personal brand. The ideal candidate The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and proven experience as a Structural Engineer, managing projects and teams. As this is a leadership role you will need the ability to effectively build rapport and relationships with clients and stakeholders as well as the capability to network and be involved in business development. To be as successful as you can in this role, you will have strong self-management skills and experience leading a team towards successful outcomes.
