Our BusinessGlobal Investment Banking focuses on building long-term relationships with large corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors. We have cultivated a ‘best in class’ reputation by providing strong advisory expertise and capitalizing on powerful M&A, debt and equity product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions.The Infrastructure & Utilities practice provides strategic and event driven advisory services to industrial groups, global and Australian infrastructure investors, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds across transport, infrastructure, power and utilities sectors.We require an Associate to join the market leading TMT team as it continues to grow.
Job Description- Ability to operate as project / deal team lead, driving the work product and transaction processes
- Participate in the execution of equity and debt financing and M&A transactions
- Perform in-depth financial, valuation, product and industry analysis, and due diligence
- Prepare pitch books, client presentations and live deal materials
- Build financial models
- Attend client meetings
- Help to generate ideas and opportunities for new and existing clients
- Train and mentor junior bankers (Analysts) as they develop core Investment Banking skill sets
- Learn from, and work with, teams consisting of professionals drawn from across the business, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm and colleagues from around the globe
Requirements- Investment Banking experience ideally within TMT or M&A
- Outstanding academic achievement
- Strong financial analysis / financial modeling skills
- Detailed oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- A bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of Investment Banking, corporate finance, M&A, modelling/valuation or consulting experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
