SalaryGVC are providing recruitment services for a wonderful privately owned 5 Vet clinic in the inner North of Melbourne. This is a modern clinic that has: Digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, PRP, dental machine, vetome, panoptic & tonopen, in house pathology, comprehensive general anaesthetic monitoring assisted by capnography, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, doppler, app- alert and manual monitoring.They are a tightknit group that support each other, working unitedly toward the goal of doing what's best for each patient and client while also enjoying themselves as they do it!!GVC are currently on the lookout for an Associate Veterinarian, ideally with a minimum of 12 months clinical experience. If you are fun, trustworthy and take pride in the work you do then this may be the right place for you!To be considered for this position, you should have the following:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
- Perform surgical procedures
- Prescribe and administer medications and anaesthesia
- Carry out surgical autopsy and euthanasia when required.
- Treating and diagnosing medical conditions
- Discussing diagnosis and treatment plans to clients
- Meet animal health regulatory and legislative requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Vet who is warm, friendly, and personable

- Can work independently where sole-charge is necessary
- Closed Sundays and Public Holidays
- Only working 1 in 4 Saturdays
