About the role
Reporting to the Head of Assurance (Quality & Compliance) and working closely with various stakeholders, you will plan and deliver compliance reviews across the Division, with a primary focus on the Citizen Services Business Unit. You will own the end to end review process with a keen eye for control effectiveness gaps and risk identification. With relevant expertise in functional areas and contracts, you will support other Enterprise Risk Management activities such as risk reviews, business continuity planning, crisis management, etc. Experience in industry standards would be an added advantage in support of certification projects across the Division.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or Post-Graduate Qualifications
- Auditor Qualifications
- Sustained experience in Compliance/ Audit management positions (+8 years)
- Worked within a multi-discipline/multi-function environment
- Demonstrated experience in leading the development of compliance review/ audit programs that are aligned to risk and business needs
- Demonstrated competence in reporting, writing, including positioning of strategic, commercially relevant messages; including synthesising complex concepts into simple messages
- Diverse background of experience, working within or alongside the Public Sector is advantageous
- Willingness to travel to other sites across Australia and New Zealand
- Desirable to have a drivers licence due to travel requirements
