About the Role
As an Attorneyships Consultant, you will provide a high level of customer service and make financial and legal decisions for a portfolio of clients under an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) arrangement.
Your responsibilities in his role will include:
- Liaising directly with clients and their family members
- Engaging regularly with service providers and industry professionals to ensure clients daily bills are paid for and they receive the service and benefits in accordance with their needs
- Assisting our clients so they have a smooth entry into aged care
- Ensuring that clients' assets are protected and managed in their best interest, including preparing properties for sale
- Developing and maintaining client budgets including approving payments
- Preparing high quality reports to external organisations, such as VCAT
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- Strong customer service, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Previous administration or case management experience (preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively to our clients or their representative/s over the phone and in writing. We are looking for someone who will treat our clients like they are ‘part of their family'
- Ability to prepare professional and customer focussed correspondence, reports, and recommendations
- Understanding of lifestyle issues faced by clients
